James has 25 years of design and construction administration experience in K-12 educational facilities, higher education projects and sustainable residential. James is passionate about energy efficiency and serves as the onsite representative for Firstfloor Energy Positive with district, school staff and other interested local government entities on our energy positive projects.

Fun Fact

At age 16,James designed, built and lived in a net-zero house for the Putney School in Vermont. Students are still using the house to learn about sustainability and living off the grid.
